What does it mean?
Pratyangira, the fierce and mighty Goddess who can demolish negativity and curses.
Who is Pratyangira?
Pratyangira is believed to be a form of Kali who specializes in destroying negative effects caused through sounds (mantras) and black magic (abhichara) by enemies.
A South Indian scripture mentions Pratyangira as a Goddess who represented Kali and accompanied Shiva to demolish the ignorance of Lord Narasimha. In later scriptures, Pratyangira is mentioned as an individual deity who destroys enemies and their evil intentions.
